Great ItemNov 17, 2009 I haven't had this case for long, so I don't have much to say at this point. The build quality is solid, and the memory cards fit securely. This Pelican case is worth the money.

Could someone PLEASE tell me how to fit an SD card in this thing?!Oct 24, 2009 I purchased this item for my SD cards, it looks very nice and solid. However, I can't fit not even one SD card in there, the cards just don't fit. It appears to be a wrong design for SD cards. I even called the manufacturer (Pelican) and asked them for help. They just said they should fit! Try it again! I tried the mini SD cards and they fit fine but not SDs. Could someone please let me know if they have experienced the same problem and short of returning the damn thing, what I could do? It's driving me crazy!
Great Product but not consistent with description and imageOct 15, 2009 Case is very well constructed but the internal arrangement and accommodation of SD cards was not as described or as depicted in the photo. As noted by another reviewer, my case included internal space for 16 mini SD cards, but was arranged differently than depicted in the photo, and made no accommodation for the standard SD cards (the pictured product accommodates both types of cards). Although product number was correct (9010), it looks like manufacturer installed the incorrect rubber storage inserts in the case; it appears to be the insert intended for the model 0920 case. Unlike the other reviewer with the same problem, I did not try to re-cut the rubber inserts to hold SD cards, but rather returned the product to Amazon. Ordered a second unit (model 9010) and it came with the same incorrect inserts. Would reorder if I could be assured of the correct rubber inserts for the 0910 model. Great build quality.
UPDATE: Pelican acknowledged some assembly problems that put the wrong insert in the 0910 case. They sent me the correct replacement case. Great product.
Empricial greatness.Sep 19, 2009 Great product, deserving of the full power of 5 stars. Some people gave it less than five, but the world is full of people (luckily the minority) who don't really "understand." Anyone giving this less than the full five stars are probably people that need the warning labels on toasters not to take them in the bath, the bigger buttons on crosswalks, and the is surprised and enlightened by advice like "don't drink and drive," or "stay in school." I personally have put 8 SD cards in this like 1 reviewer says is near impossible. I also love the thickness as I took out one of the inserts and put in 4 SD cards and then had room for a SD card reader for my netbook when I traveled. I will look forward to using this again come fair or foul weather as it really is a great Card Holder than I would stake my travel pictures. So ticket to Angkor Wat $2,000, hotels $500, food on the trip, $400 and if you stayed in school you can add that to about $2,900...of memories I brought home in this... If you can't add those numbers up, pull your car over, sober up and go back to school, you should have stayed there.

not what was picturedSep 10, 2009 In the one I received, all the cutouts were customized for mini SD cards, not the regular-size cards. It was possible for me to use a razor blade and cut the hard rubber to make 2 regular size cards fit on each side, but there's no way I could fit 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom, as pictured. And there are no restraints for the cards, they just sit in the rubber cut outs. It does appear to be bullet-proof, if a bit heavy.
