shut down problem as wellOct 27, 2009 Not only do I have the same problem with 5 of my Tripp Lites, I suspect damage to computers as well. I have had 3 dells die suddenly, all when the Tripp Lite shuts itself down for no reason. One Dell just died after only 3 days of use.

Random Shutdowns, a handy feature in a UPSDec 17, 2008 I bought this product from another vendor 5 months ago. It will now shut down at random times throughout the day. No warning, no errors.. just shut off. The battery tests all pass and I work at the power company so Im sure we have solid utility service :) I will never purchase another Tripp Lite product, we are an APC shop for life now.
Computer-& peripherals backup battery works greatSep 16, 2008 I have owned the Tripp Lite 750VA backup battery for nearly a year. It backs up my desktop computer, monitor, router, modem, usb hub and one external hard drive. During two recent power outages, it worked without a glitch, and let me power down all of the above items in 7 or 8 minutes without a problem.

Terrible, buy an Ultra 2000VA UPSMar 29, 2008 This item is terrible. The problem is that it constantly monitors the quality of the incoming 120V line. If that 120V outlet in anything less than absolutely perfect this awful gadget starts beeping endlessly and stops working. So every time my neighbor opens his garage door and the voltage of my 120V outlet drops a fraction for a second this piece of junk starts beeping endlessly as if it were the end of the world. I wanted a simple battery to power my PC for a few minutes when the power fails, not a complicated idea. This thing instead monitors my homes 120V system and beeps loudly and constantly any time there is the slightest variation. I did not buy a gadget to monitor my homes electrical system, I wanted a battery to power my PC in case of power failures. Totally useless. Does not do what it is supposed to do. $30 in shipping to return due to weight. I didnt even try the software.

Zero stars if I could....Total POCrapMar 25, 2008 A used car battery and a sears battery charger would work infinitely better. Worst product I have bought in years.
