Good value for the dollarNov 07, 2009
First of all, upon reading the other reviews, the SDCZ36 model does not come with a keyring, it's the SDC6 model that does. Since we are reviewing the SDCZ36 version, no keyring.
I did not like the U3 features except for the password security so I uninstalled it. Also, I have the flashdrive attached via a USB extension cable to my desktop. That way, it's easy to find and less wear and tear taking it out and putting it back in. Just keep it installed unless I am taking the flashdrive elsewhere to load/unload programs
Wth the U3 installed, couldn't keep the flashdrive connected. The software went crazy trying to reinstall everything when I booted up the computer and I had to eject it and reconnect it which was what I was trying to avoid.
Used strictly as a storage device, it works great and since I have it connected for all the time I'm not using it elsewhere, I use it for backup storage, moving files that I have updated on my desktop to the flashdrive soon after.
The orange light does not bother me since I can hide it which is pretty easy using the USB extension cable
Great value for the dollar. One downside is that you lose the password protection if you uninstall U3. Wish they would have provided that separate from U3.
Still worth buying.

Bought this for a friends graduation present. He wanted a flash drive to put all of his music on(which is a lot.) He says it is 7 or 8 days of playtime. It all fit and he still had 6gb left!!! Super easy to use too!

I thought there's going to be some kind of a hook that you can hook it to a key chain or something but there isn't. Even though it does not have a cap (which can easily be lost), this item is not any better. It's small and can be misplaced or lost easily too. Disappointing.

Not much to say. It isn't a very exciting piece of hardware, but it does the job. I wasn't sure at first about the slide out dealy, but got used to it. If I were in the market, I would look for another one of these. Just a solid little flash drive.

 Fine for PC, not for AcuraSep 12, 2009
This drive works fine on all our PCs but it was not recognized by our Acura TL which was the main reason I purchased it. A Kingston DataTraveler 101 - 16 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DT101C/16GB did work in the TL.
