review for mp3Sep 20, 2009 the headphones stopped working within a week after buying it. the left button used to rewind doesnt work. when i tried to contact the manufacturer, they never responded.
Nice little playerJul 25, 2009 The players looks are compact and sensible, along with practical. The surfaced backing helps to guard against slippage. The controls work very well, and I have not had issues navigating between interfaces and files.
The multiple functions are actually useful. I enjoy putting small video files on it to show to people out and about. The display is pretty good. Also, the text e-book function has come in useful for carting around lists of things that I had originally made on the computer when looking things up on-line.
Sound quality is nice, and the battery can go for a very good while. The radio function works well, and the tuner is pretty good with the packaged ear bud headphones. Nicer headphones are a must, but the ear buds are serviceable.
I have owned this player for seven months now, and it still runs great and the battery still holds a full charge. The 2GB worth of space has been very adequate for me. I see that some people have had problems with this player, but it has been nothing but good to me.
Not completely satisfiedJul 11, 2009 I purchased my MP3 player as other members of my family have them & enjoy them. I was thinking of getting just an I Tune and then I decided to purchase a MP3 instead.
I am enjoying the music. I had and still am having difficulty coping music to it from my MSN music of which I have many songs. Sometimes it works and other times it does not. I have approx. 11 songs on the MP3 player at the present time. When I was having so much difficulty I used to listen to the radio portion and even thought about returning it, but I did not.
The earphones also are not comfortable.

Good mp3 playerMay 04, 2009 I bought this for my little brother to bring on the bus on his was to and from school. So far it has been great. It is simple to use. He has music and several pictures on it(We have not tried the video yet). The charge lasts pretty long as he listens to it probably for about an hour a day and it only needs to be charged once a week at the most. The quality of the pictures is not as good as an Ipod so I'm assuming the video quality isn't quite as good either, but for about 1/5th the price you can't complain. I would recommend this product, especially if you are buying it primarily for music.
Pretty GoodMay 02, 2009 This MP3 player is quite a good player. It organizes your music for you, you can search through all of the music, or music just by a certain artist. Nice clear screen. Great for playing videos. The only downside is that it will not recognize all movies that I have spent the time converting and putting on there. I put one movie on there it worked fine, the next one, all I got was loud screeching. The video played fine, but the audio was messed up.
One thing I did not like was the Coby customer support. They were so rude.
She literally argued with me about the video conversion software coming with the MP3 player. See I formatted my MP3 player out of a moment of not thinking. And all the documentation and the Media Center application that was on the MP3 player obviously got erased. So I called them, and she said, there was no software that came on the MP3 player, the only software you got was the Video Conversion software. I told her that I didn't have any video conversion software, I had to download it from the web. She said, no you did receive the software, I'm like I didn't, but she wasn't answering my questions. So I said thank you.. goodbye, last time I buy a Coby Product.
Apart from the customer service rep, this was a great player, and very cheap.
