Best MP3 on the marketNov 02, 2009 With memory cards, FM radio and easy to load music, this MP3 is the best on the market. Cannot get this in 2GB any longer, but the 4GB and 8GB are exactly the same in features and quality.
Not for EXERCISINGNov 01, 2009 I read all the great reviews about this and got so excited that I bought it. I haven't been happy with the scandisk since I've own it. The slightest bit of movement and it acts like it skips. You have to be perfectly still to listen to any music on it b/c the slightest bit of movement will mess up the flow of music. Radio or mp3 files. I also struggle with fitting the headphones in correctly. If you push it all the way down nothing plays, so you have to only push it down to the first grove but make sure its not pushed too far in..... Ahh.. its annoying. If you are buying this to use for anytype of movement or exercising. I would suggest buying something else.. This is made for people who don't move.
Awesome!Oct 30, 2009 For the price, in my opinion, this is much better than an Ipod. All or most of the same features and not having to deal with I Tunes is a big positive. Also the ability to add micro sd cards to upgrade memory is very nice addition. Great product.

TERRIBLE FM receptionOct 14, 2009 First off: According to the many great ratings it has received all over the Net, from Amazon to CNET to Joe Bob's Review Site, I'm sure this is a nifty MP3 player.
What noone tells you is that the FM reception on this thing is a JOKE.
I bought this primarily for the FM function so I would not go out of my mind at the gym, but if the headphones aren't plugged in JUST right, it doesn't pick up ANYTHING, not even static. When it does, it crackles and hisses.
As troubled as it is when standing still, it becomes absolutely unlistenable when you're moving around (even when it's resting on the machine, god forbid you'd strap it to your arm). I felt like a bit of a moron at the gym moving my MP3 player around to find a better reception spot (I didn't find it).
I got it a few days ago and I am returning it today and getting a Zune. Perhaps that will function better.
great little mp3 playerOct 10, 2009 this mp3 player was reasonably priced, and has more features than my ipod that recently crashed on me. as far as longevity or reliability, that remains to be seen, as i just got it. i was able to throw 3 movies on it that i had saved on a back up hard drive i own, and they worked great once i converted it with the sansa software. however, i still have to find some software to use to rip and then convert any other movies that i may want to throw on it.... any suggestions??
