excellent mp3 playerMay 26, 2009 I purchased this MP3 player for my 75 year old mother after I received one for Christmas. I deceided to get one for my mom because it is very easy to use, and unlike the IPOD shuffle, she can see the title of the song as it is playing. I would recommend this to anyone that is somewhat technologically challenged.

I like it.Oct 29, 2008 I really like this little player. I listen only to audio books and it is the only player I can make work for me. The books always load in proper order...I can pause it any time and pick up right where I left off. It is simple.....something I really appreciate. I have 3 of them. The problem is that I use it constantly and too soon, my computer stops recognizing it. Won't let me erase the old book to add a new one. That is why I have 3. I'm looking at a 4th already and the last 2 aren't even a year old. There is no tech support or any info to be found on them.

Great for the moneyAug 29, 2008 I listen mostly to audio books and publications. I appreciate the 2 gigs on this player. For audio books that's more than enough space. You do have to recharge it from time to time and the first time it takes about 10 hours. But a charge lasts a long time.
The documentation is awful. It's not complete. And technical support does not answer email. They do not answer the phone. So, there is NO technical support.
You can't bookmark. I'd like to be able to bookmark and go to something else and return. But the scan works pretty well.
It all depends on what you want an mp3 player for. But if you want something that's dependable and you're willing to learn how to work it on your own, this is a great little player.
The off button is really the on button. And you have to put it to off (which is on) when you charge it. Then put it to on/which is off, to load it. But once you learn this, it's a snap.
A decent little player and certainly worth the small amount you pay for it. I use it as my second mp3 player so I didn't want to invest much.

GPX MP3 PlayerDec 03, 2007 Okay, this isn't the best player I've had, I had a Sandisk one previously and while I enjoyed it (I still do) it only fulfilled half of my needs. This is still a 1GB one for me, but it can hold a lot more songs than my Sansa one could (500 songs for Sansa on wma, 650 for GPX on wma) hopefully I'll be able to upgrade to a better one later on, but this will definetly fulfill my needs for the time being. The only thing this player doesn't have is an FM radio (which I don't care about cause I never used the one on my Sansa). Hopefully after Christmas or later on I'll be able to get a slightly better one (and hopefully in colour too!) I enjoy this player though, like I said, because it fulfills my needs... It's a lot smaller than my Sansa one (I guess I didn't want to go too big lol. Another thing that sucked is that the instruction manual is very poorly written. You kind of have to play around with it to figure it out yourself. I recommend this one if you don't want to have a lot of features or buttons to mess around with, but if you do, I'd go for something better than this. I should've added that I also got this one because, being as it's a rechargable battery (unlike Sandisk) I use this one for road trips, and I use the other one for at home.
