 Flashlight not satisfacoryAug 17, 2009
I was disappointed with this flashlight. I bought it for a friend who is losing her eyesight. When the description said "area light", I didn't realize it meant only the area around the flashlight! (A flashlight I already had, has an 'area light' that lights up the room.) Also, the description says "pack of two" -- I only received one light. It's of no value to my friend because it's not any better than the cheaper lights she already has.

PROS: rugged, tough, strong
CONS: compared to LED, the old-fashioned incandescent bulb is dimmer and burns batteries faster; useless as lantern, e.g. not enough light for reading

A great flashlight - can work standing up on its own and light up a small room. Great shape and easy to use.
