Plug and playNov 20, 2009 Worked right out of the box like it's supposed to.
Xbox360, PS3, laptop, all see the (D-Link) router/Internet no problem, everything works smooth.
Haven't tested to verify Gigabit speeds.
How do you do that anyway? Anyone know?
Good value to split connectionNov 16, 2009 I bought this because my modem only has 1 output. My wife has an issue with the dlink router I use for my computers so I split the connection with this. Hasnt had any issues for the month I have had it. Was a good cheap way to split my modem connection.
Great little TV system switchOct 29, 2009 Purchased this gigabit switch to be used as part of a home theater system. Right now have a Roku and Panasonic Blu-ray connected. Setup is trivial: plug in the cables, plug in the power and it works. Didn't really need a gigabit switch but the price was right and I have some "future proof".
DGS-2205 1gb switchOct 27, 2009 I replaced an older d-link 10/100 switch on my phone company's fiberoptic incoming line. This unit has increased the speed of the connection. I also have better communication to my HP ColorLaserJet 2605dn network printer. Overall its a very nice unit.
Great ValueOct 25, 2009 Great value for a gigabit switch. There is no uplink port, however, so you lose one port right off the bat. Also, the lights are small and dim, but for the most part its obvious if you are connected at 1000mb or 100mb.
