Perfect item for long road trip with kidsNov 16, 2009 After searching for 6 months, I bought this dvd player based on reviews I found on Amazon. We took it on a 30+ hour road trip with a preschooler and toddler and we were overjoyed it worked perfectly for the entire trip. We did unplug it every time we stopped and kept it in a temperate climate. I loved that the main dvd unit could fit on our center console so I could easily change from one movie to the next instead of having to unhook the dvd player from the seat as some other Dual Dvd models require. So changing dvds was a snap. I liked that each screen had it's own volume and on/off switch in case one child was napping. However I did wish the main unit had a volume control in case I needed to turn down both units in a hurry for a drive-through or toll stop. I did buy the 2-year warranty from SquareTrade in case we had problems, but so far, this unit has worked perfectly and I'm very happy with my purchase.
Broken after 9 monthsNov 02, 2009 Its so hard to find a reliable dual screen DVD player that will last a year. This one broke after 9 months use. I'd pay $400 to get one that will work for 4 years ($125/yr). Much cheaper than buying a new $150 unit 1x/year
Wow, very surprised... unfortunatelyOct 22, 2009 I read many reviews about this product and decided that it would suit my needs very well. I still think so. However, after a week of tracking the shipment online and looking forward to the arrival of my purchase, I never could even see the potential of the unit. I hooked up the unit right away in my living room and put in a DVD. It took a while to load, but did play... for 2 minutes. Then it froze, and I never was able to play a DVD again. It would load and play audio cd's, but never played DVD's. Now, my unit was a refurbished unit so that may play a part in the poor (lack of) performance. I will now begin the process of returning it and seeing if I can get a similar item (that works) in return. Thus, I'm quite disappointed that I never even watched ONE DVD on my player. So, buying this unit (for future buyers) is a big variable, go for it but don't expect it to play for too long, or at all.

Nice product for car travelOct 03, 2009 This is a great product for traveling in the car with 2 kids. They both have to watch the same thing but that's fine for now. The only drawback is the lack of a battery pack which makes it unusable for airline travel.

The wires don't work!Aug 27, 2009 The DVD player itself is perfect for road trips. Easy to use and easy to change CD's. Big problem is that the wires went corrupt after 2 uses! Video feed was interupted and we have to find new wires. Otherwise, it was great.
