Worth the buy, but not terrificNov 18, 2009 This player has lasted me over two years, and it has faired very well.
I will say that the image quality is not superb, but competitive for the price.
Pros: Very portable, and it has all you will need besides DVDs. The battery lasts 3 hrs, and then you can switch over to either a normal wall plug or car adapter.
Cons: The connection has recently been poor between the player and the cord/battery pack (you have to hold the cord into the jack or it will power off). Headphones are very collapsible yet they pinch your ears to your head instead of sealing around them.
I would say buy this product for annual road trips, but any thing more and I would say consider investing in a higher quality player.

Why Do People Like This?Nov 10, 2009 I can't believe there are positive reviews for this product. I'm so confused. First off, according to the manual, the battery takes 5 hours to charge and then lasts only 2 hours. And manufacturers have been known to stretch the truth when it comes to rechargeable battery lifespans. It's not worth shlepping this thing through an airport to just barely watch one movie. Also, I might be confused but I was expecting the screen to be 7" across. It's less than 6" across and looks absurdly small. But my biggest complaint is the comically loud noise the DVD drive makes. It sounds like a blender. My wife and I burst out laughing when we put a DVD in and then listened as a 1920s car engine whinnied to life in front of us. This does not seem like 2009 technology to me.
GREAT QUALITY - GOOD PRICEOct 28, 2009 I use this DVD player frequently. Small, portable unit with great picture and sound. Earphones provide excellent sound quality for times when I don't want to disturb others.
Very pleased with purchaseOct 06, 2009 I purchased two of these DVD players for my son's 2 and 4 in June of 09. They have worked great and we have not had any issues at all. We take them on long trips, camping and sometimes when I want my TV to myself. Again they are easy to use and work great!
DVD 7" Portable PlayerOct 02, 2009 Product purchased used and was in excellent condition. Only downside is battery life is only 2 hrs. It has a built in battery so not sure if I can install upgrade battery!
