 Will NOT HONOR WARRANTY CLAIMSFeb 16, 2010
My Radar detector was purchased January 2010. One month later the detector stopped working and would not turn on. I verified it was not the power source or the cable; the unit was receiving power but would not turn on. Well I wasn't too happy but I knew it was covered by a 1 Year warranty. I called up Beltronics only to find out that they DO NOT HONOR WARRANTY CLAIMS for products purchased from Amazon.com!!! Even worse, they wanted $79.99 + shipping to fix the unit. Needless-to-say, I find their level of customer service inadequate and disconcerting given the volume of product they sell through this site. I will not purchase another Beltronics product and would advise highly against it given their lack of professionalism in standing behind the quality of their own product.

It's been a while since i've owned a radar detector, but thought it was about time to get one due to a couple of recent tickets!! This radar detector has since saved me over 10 times, given me enough notice to slow down and prevent getting another ticket..

This detector picks up Ka band way before its too late. I did a lot of reasearch and this one comes highly recommended for a reason.

After doing a considerable amount of research on radar detectors I decided to buy the Beltronics RX65 RED unit. Good features for the price and an overall good buying experience. I gave it to my son n law for Christmas and so far he said it works great. I would reccomend the product.

I got this for my husband because I was tired of paying for speeding tickets. Well we've had it for almost a year now and he hasn't got a ticket since!Finally we can start saving money! Anyway you have to adjust the settings for your need but if you get it right it won't go off constantly and every time it has we always see a cop somewhere. It has also helped me when going to work. The only downside is that the mount thing broke pretty quickly after we got it so we had to improvise a mount with some velcro but the unit itself works great and is still going. Not sure what kind of mount would be better though. Great value for the price if you get about one speeding ticket a year.
