4It does what it is supposed toNov 07, 2009
I got this to replace an iPod Shuffle. I mainly use it in the gym and sometimes plugged into my car stereo. For the gym, the clip is not quite as strong as the iPod's, but it does the job. The UI, while minimal, is occasionally useful. The main advantage over the iPod, and the main reason I use it instead of the iPod, is that it can be treated like a file system. I can simply copy files from the computer's file system to the MP3 player's file system.

5Very happyOct 31, 2009
I won't repeat all of the previous reviews on this product. I'm not a techie. I'm a 63 year old grandmother who is generally computer literate. (I use a computer at work, and I have one at home.) I found it easy to get this product up and running. I received it a few days ago, so I'm sure I have much to learn about it. However, I've already got it running with my favorite songs on it. Sound quality is good. The literature that comes with it, however, is not adequate. I recommend downloading the user manual (free) from Sansa. Also, one big problem I had - the headphones. I could see on the display that the song was running, but I couldn't hear the song. Discovered that I had not pushed the headphone jack far enough into the unit. It's tight, so you must push quite hard!

1Dissapointing and annoying experienceOct 25, 2009
I carefully reviewed all the positive reviews it got before placing an order. So, was very excited and looking forward. However, it started showing problems the day I received it. Was unable to transfer some songs...no clue why? And although some albums were transferred in to the player, they won't play!!! And after 20 days, it just stopped playing!!! May be it's just this one product that was faulty, and may be Sansa is a good mp3 players, as suggested by many reviews!! May be I was just unlucky to receive a faulty product!

4Good value for the priceOct 25, 2009
I found this player very durable and reliable. The Battery life seems very good. The sound is only average but for the price range you cant complain. It is compatible with [...] software and so I use it for audiobooks and to download podcasts.

5The Best MP3 PlayerOct 24, 2009
This is the best MP3 player I've ever owned. It beats the Ipod Nanoa and the Microsoft Zune with no questions. Get on and see what I'm talking about. The sound quality of this device is awsome! Add some kick butt headphones and OH MY GOSH! You will hear notes and words in the songs that you never knew were there. I highly recommend this player.
