Definately mount it to the wall, it is a little 'tippy' free standing Looks great on the wall.

Love this dvd rack! My husband is disabled and can't bend over. So instead of sitting it on the floor, I took the legs off and mounted it on the wall - perfect height to reach the movies. We liked it so much that I went back and bought a second one. Now, it will not protect your dvd's from dust, since they are completely exposed. But a feather duster or disposable dust cloth works fine. And if you have alot of "boxed sets", there are only a couple places they will fit in this unit. This rack has the most space for single disk cases. IT HOLDS ALOT!!

It looks perfect next to my DVD shelf. I might need to buy another once my game collection grows a little more. I would have liked to know how tall this tower would have been since it is a bit too tall when assembled as shown on the picture, but luckily I was able to keep both parts side by side instead. the second part without a stand seems to be rather stable. I really picked the right one for me.

The rack is OK, but I don't like the fact that I have to secure it to the wall.
