Brother label maker tapeNov 18, 2009 I am very happy with this purchase. It came within the stated time frame given on the product site and was exactly what I ordered. It saved me lots of dollars by buying online.
This is exactly what stores have, not the old tapeNov 14, 2009 A previous reviewer said he got an old version, which didn't have crack and peel, a nice feature, but I just received mine (11/09) and it is the current version with crack and peel tape. Exactly what they had at Office Depot, but at Office Depot it was 29.95! Exact store packaging and everything.
Works as it shouldOct 24, 2009 This is the type of tape that came with my EZ brother and it works great.
The price was awesome on Amazon. Target had it for twice the price.
Brother Black on White Laminated 1/2-Inch Labeling Tape (TZ231)Sep 27, 2009 I ordered this refill product because the one in my printer jammed. The labels produced are good quality and are laminated which makes them better suited for outside use. The primary thing I have against the Brother labeling system is that the tapes are so expensive. If I buy them locally, they are $15 to $20 each. The product probably cost less than a dollar to manufacture. Since no one other than Brother makes the tapes, you will end up paying more than if they had any competition. At least with inkjet printers, there are competing store brands and places to refill the cartridges. I like the Brother printer but I use it sparingly knowing the cost of the labels.
This labeling tape is great!Sep 20, 2009 I've been using this labeling tape for years now. I tried the cheaper, un-laminated tape and it didn't last.
This tape lasts for years and years. The Black on White really stands out crisp and clean.
The price was 1/2 what I'ld pay at the retail store.
