Chamberlain KLIK1U Clicker - Easy programNov 12, 2009 Chamberlain KLIK1U Clicker Universal Garage door remote control is easy to use. It is compatible with Sears and Genie garage door opener and very easy to program onto the remote. highly recommended.
Works great!Oct 24, 2009 I just purchased the KLIK1U Clicker from Amazon, and it works great! I have two older (circa 199?) openers: a Stanley Intellicode and a Genie with dip switches. Setting up the Clicker for both of these was reasonably straightforward. The Stanley was up and running in about 3-minutes. The Genie setup took a little longer since I didn't get the dip switches set right on the first couple of tries. But after that, programmed just fine. I checked out the range and the Clicker worked from 70 feet away from my garage. I know some complained about the range being not so good, but I didn't find that to be the case. I am very happy with my purchase and just wish I'd done this a long time ago.
It works, but has a short rangeOct 07, 2009 Works fine. Programming was also straight forward.
The range is not that great. You have to be quite close to the garage.
My girlfriends Genius remote that came with the condo has lets say double the range.
Does not workSep 30, 2009 I am very mechanical inclined, but I tried everything to get this item to work, but it does not. I guess I am the 10% of remotes that it does not work on. You would think they could have a list of compatable models #s instead of just brands. Wasted money..

Clicker Is GarbageSep 24, 2009 Comical! I bought this remote at a retail store. Although there were a couple on the shelf with opened packages (returned from other unsatisfied customers) the store clerk recommended this one so I bought it. Never worked. This thing is simply garbage. I shouldn't have bought it when I saw how many other customers had returned theirs. Don't buy it.
