This shelf seems to be sturdy and mounts easily on the wall. It serves its purpose but is nothing special.

The installation was not that hard, but few things did not go well. The material quality is good, but the small locking screws are not. The support that needs to be attached to the bracket is not leveled and CANNOT be leveled at all. It tilts to the right and there was no way to get it leveled. Only way is to move the bracket taking it out of level. If you have only one that would be the solution, but if you have more than one they go out of alignment when try to level the support arm. So the brackets are perfectly aligned and leveled, but the support arms. The manufacturer must look into this and correct it. Also include the locking screws made of stronger material. The cable management is not good either. Too tight and the cover does not stay in place when few cables/cords run through it.
Besides those issues once installed it looks great.

Bought this to hold a large center channel speaker over a 54" flat screen. The Polk speaker I have works very well but it also is about 10" deep and heavy. All of the speaker wall brackets I found were too shallow. This actually protrudes a little too far but is extremely sturdy. Two or three of these to hold your components (what it is really made for) with a wall mounted TV would look great. The four included strong wood screws into a stud and your kid could probably swing from it. Very sturdy feeling materials. To make it protrude less from the wall, I considered sawing off a bit and putting the end caps back on, but the metal is heavy and the finish too nice to risk. I was surprised at how well made it was. You should check to see if there is a wall stud where you want to install it. I would have worried about too much weight using just sheet rock anchors.

The shelf bracket is very sturdy when mounted to a stud. Who ever designed this did not take into account that most units you would set on this shelf have feet. The feet get in the way of these rubber knobs they have mounted on the shelf. I had the pull the cable box out from the wall more than I had hoped so that the box would sit correctly on the shelf. Only a few inchs but it would have been nice to have the boxes sit back a little more flush with the wall. The supplied alan screw that secures the Y shape to the wall bracket stripped the first turn and the alan wrench provided never fit it correct from the beginning, hence the stripping of the screw head. Once I was able to secure the Y to the wall bracket everything was good to go. It has a nice clean look and does the job.

The product went up easily and supports the components. It would have been handy if the direction the component faces could be altered, even if just 15-20 degrees to accomodate a corner install that faces out near the center of the room.
