Purchased December 2008. Used to charge telephones and other small wattage devices. This month the voltage went below 100 volts and was not able to recharge anything.

Used for trip from Texas to Yellowstone and back, to power laptop computer & phone charger in a 2009 Toyota Camry and it worked great. Fan came on every now and then, while in back floorboard, but not loud or annoying.

I purchased a 100 watt Xantrex, and had problems with it, the power switch never punctioned properly so I purchased this one isntead, well worth the couple of extra dollars.

I bought this to plug in a 19 inch LCD HDTV with my SUV while tailgaiting at football games. So far, it works like a charm. I plugged this into the vehicle's cig lighter, hooked up the tv, and attached the tv to an unamplified HD Antenna. I was able to watch 2+ hours of early NFL games with the car's engine off.
I'm a casual user, I will likely only use this product once a week for tailgaiting. So far so good!

I have a HTC 6800, and it charges for a second, then acts as if it isn't plugged in. The charging indicator even turns off. Phone charges just find from ac adapter and house wall outlet.
