5AT&T Model CL82309Mar 18, 2010
I bought this product for 3 reasons: DSL interference, clarity and volume control. My former cordless transmitted at 5.4 GHz and interfered with my DSL; and my hearing has deteriorated to the point where I need better clarity and must have good volume control for the handset and handset speakerphone. I bought the AT&T Model CL82309 (3 units) DECT 6.0 cordless and give it an A+ (as well as 5 stars). No more DSL interference, and the DECT clarity and volume control are wonderful. The handset volume is almost always loud enough. On a few occasions when weak reception made hearing difficult, I switched to the handset speakerphone, which always provided sufficient volume. When I need both hands on the computer I switch to the speakerphone and lay it on the desk. I have been told by several callers that my transmission works well that way. (The speakerphone is on the back of the unit and works well when I hold it in front of me and also very well when I lay it on a hard surface, like the desk, so that the sound is reflected.) The speaker in the desk unit for the answering machine provides clear and loud playback (too loud for me at the maximum setting). I needed the foregoing benefits, but am enjoying the various bells and whistles (like accessing the answering machine through any of the handsets; and the intercom works great from the garden about 100 feet from the house). The individual hand units are sleek and have a quality feel -- they appear to be well made. I recommend downloading the manual for ease of reference. I have used the units constantly for over 7 weeks and could not want better phones.

seems well made but difficult to program and also in general usage. I don't care much for it.

5Finally wireless phone in my workshopMar 11, 2010
My home workshop is embedded in our separate garage building. Previous wireless phones would not reliably communicate with the base and would thus drop phone calls answered in the workshop. This telephone, due to the frequency it operates on, has proven extremely reliable with excellent sound quality. I am so pleased that I took the chance on yet another wireless phone!

5Pretty much what I expected.Mar 02, 2010
This phone system gets the job done with ease of use, however there are too many functions to keep in your head. Some times too much activity with the same buttons creates confusion with the most desired functions that I want. One downside to the handsets are the slimness of the units and the stability in the base and auxillary units.

5Amazon Customer ServiceFeb 06, 2010
Unfortunately we had to return these phones before using them because we noticed immediately that they do not have headset jacks. We bought Panasonic phones from Amazon instead. I give Amazon Custooner service 5 stars for the help they gave us
