Elegant, sturdy, small flashlightMar 12, 2010 I am more than pleased with this durable 6" LED flashlight. You simply press the base switch, et voila, bright, clear light illuminates your way with elegant efficiency, whether on the midnight trip to the bath, or on the walk in the early-morn dark for the paper(s). Well worth the USD$30 price. This tool looks quite smart, as well.
Super ValueJan 20, 2010 I have the AA version of this light as well and this one is even better in my opinion. I use a flashlight daily in my work, so I need one that is dependable. From time to time I drop, leave behind or otherwise abuse the poor things, so I need one that can take some punishment and not cost too much to replace. This little light fits the bill in every respect. With the triple A's you get a compact light that fits in your pocket, tool box, and glove compartment nicely. The zoom feature and cap switch are operable with one hand (unlike the Maglites which require you to use both hands to turn them on or focus). I loand one to my neighbor recently and she said I won't be getting it back she likes it so well... All in all a great value, just becareful who you loan it to.
My Best LED Flashlight So FarJan 06, 2010 I have owned and used LED flashlights for several years. I prefer the AA - AAA size, since I do not need the C or D battery sized flashlight or their weight. Out of all the flashlights that I have owned, I like the Duracell Daylight AAA the best. First of all, it has the brightest and widest light of any models that I have used. Over twice as wide a usable beam as my Maglight brand AA LED flashlights. Including the 3 AA Maglight battery model. I think that it would rival C battery flashlights in width, but that is just my speculation. Secondly, it feels solid and well made. Next, I can use my Lenmar 1000 MhA rechargable batteries without a problem. Some LED flashlights do not do well with rechargable batteries. The barrel is much wider than the AA flashlights and is much more comfortable. The aaa batteries fit in a cartridge/ holder and slide into the barrel.
The downside is not really the fault of the flashlight. I use accessory belt holders, etc, and the flashlight, since it is wider cannot fit in the holder or use the attachments, such as the fiber optic point light. I'll have to keep my AA lights for them.
Since I've used this flashlight for a couple of weeks, I'd like to add two cons. First of all, the batteries fit into a round battery holder that is inserted into the flashlight. I cannot find that type of holder online, so I can't get a spare. I haven't contacted Duracell yet, though. I had flashlights with this holder type in the past and the holders broke after about a year. Now, this one may be made of a better quality plastic, so I don't know how it will do.
Secondly, I picked up a Nite Ize Lite Holster which stretches. I have to return it because of the flashlight design. It has a little lip on the bottom, which keeps it from sliding down into the elastic panel holster. Boo!
It still has great light output, though.

Great flashlightJul 01, 2009 I'm a flashlight junkie who has everything from Maglights to Surefires. This flashlight offers a lot for a reasonable price: LED illumination, aluminum body, focusing head, it's bright, well constructed and has a flat base so you can stand it vertical for lighting a room or confined area. Although I've only had it for a short time, I anticipate it will hold up well. It appears Duracell makes a version that uses CR123 batteries; however Amazon sells this through partners and I usually stay with Amazon stocked products. I'll probably give it a try if and when Amazon stocks it.

Great productApr 25, 2009 Its sleek and compact by design. Jus bcos its small it doesnt mean that the light produced is faint, its quite powerful too. Perfectly fits into your jeans pockets. Great quality. Perfect for domestic and basic outdoor use. If ure looking for extra powerful spot lights for a specific purpose then this is not the product.
