Ok as a back-up or small venueDec 17, 2008 I purchased this system the day before a double booking b/c my cd-mix2 died on me. The sound quality is not the best when hooked to powered speakers, though I'm also comparing it to high end equipment so that may not be a fair statement. I have not had any problems with it the short amount of time I have used it. What is great about it is it fits in a slightly oversized briefcase and I carry it as my backup. If my cd decks or my mixer crap out this unit can cover both of them making downtime very shortlived. I would not recommend this product as your MAIN system at all. However it is a great backup or "second system" to have in your inventory. Have not had to switch over to it but its great to know I could do so very easily. One other con is that it has 1 mic input (actually 2 but controlled by the same level knob and I'm not sure if two would work plugged in together).

CDM-150Mar 20, 2008 I have the CDM-150 and I play a small bar once a week that holds about 200 people and I have had no problem with this system. I am able to beat match, blend and loop effortlessly. NOT A SYSTEM FOR SCRATCHING!!!! If this is what you are looking for try another brand but if you want to just do basic DJ'ing it will work out find. I have it hooked up to a Peavey PR15 and barely have the speaker past 2 and its rocks the whole bar. Great for price!
Hard to operateJan 05, 2008 Not enough instructions included. Left to figure out additional equipment needed to operate for first time user. Looks nice but not enough details on how to work with it. Need a lot of time to play with. If anyone can help with suggestions please let me know.
