 Just what the doctor ordered!Nov 22, 2009
I was looking for a charger that was simple enough that my wife would be ok with using it, and with features that would allow me to optimize my varied batteries that have collected over the years. The product was beyond expectations (I have bought other "special" chargers in the past). Simple to use, great user interface and good value.

Had 50 AA and AAAs for my cameras, flashes etc, just what the doctor ordered. This charger lets you know the status of each battery (still dependable, has the amps to get the job done - or is it time to put it in the kids toys). Being able to controll the charging rate ( have all night - 200 milliamps versus have a shoot in 2 hours I will scarifice some battery life) is great. Highly recomend this model.

I like the individual display for each battery. The 'reconditioning' option has extended the usable life of 3 of my old rechargable batteries.
Build quality of the buttons feels a little cheap, but overall it works fine. My kids use it to constantly recharge their wii remote batteries.
One thing I did not like is if a battery is already fully discharged (after a long time of non-use or for some other reason), then this charger does not even detect it. I need another charger to get some initial charge into those batteries before this charger will recognize them. So I am still stuck with keeping another charger right next to it.
