Good case, if you don't mind losing your iPhoneFeb 14, 2010 First, this is not the case in the picture. The photograph is the earlier version of the case, so if you're gonna buy it, save yourself a few bucks by purchasing the same case from another vendor -- one who has bothered to change the photograph on the listing. (Vendor gets negative 1 star for that.) The case is great, protects the phone well while still giving you access to all controls, plug-ins, etc. The clip, however, leads much to be desired. It is difficult to clip on, easy to slide off. Despite what the graphic shows, the clip does not rotate, making the problem worse. The clip on the new version of the case is no longer removable. A big problem. And expensive. I lost my iPhone one day while walking the dog. It apparently slipped off, and I didn't notice it. Great case, terrible clip.

Don't waste your money on this junk.Feb 11, 2010 I bought this for my gf a year ago, and at first she loved it because it protected the phone, had a belt clip, and looked nice. Well after several months the material around the screen started to separate. I did a quick fix by using superglue. Now the entire border surrounding the screen has fallen apart and looks horrible. If you change your case every few months you'll be ok with it, but not worth the money considering the horrible quality of the product. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Great Design - Poor ConstructionJan 14, 2010 I'm looking to replace my Marware CEO case after six months and was considering another CEO but after reading all the reviews from people that had the same bad experience, I now have to pass. My case has fallen apart the same way and is now completely un-useable and that's too bad because I really like this case. I looked at Seidio Innocase II case but it's a holster style and I'm hooked on the Marware flip style. I read the positive reviews and they were mostly from people who had just received their case and had no long term experience (6 months or greater).
I would love to see Marware come out with an improved case and I'm not talking about styling or functionality that's all fine, but a case that won't start to fall apart after 3-6 months. But the problem is I'm snake bit and Mareware would have to acknowledge the problem and market the next improved model as not falling apart after 6 months. I would spend a lot more money for the same case if it had a 1 or 2 year warranty. I have other Marware products and they are great otherwise I wouldn't continue to buy them but this case hasn't lived up to their great standards.
Maybe it's time to see if I can get my leather artisan make me the same case that will last a few years or at least until the 4gs comes out. Marware, email me when you have improved this case. Thanks.

Marware CEO does not stand up to frequent use over timeDec 25, 2009 After a couple months, the case area to the right of the iPhone's "slide to unlock" control wore out -- the material could not stand up to being bumped regularly over time. Eventually, the entire perimeter of the screen area came to be tattered and torn. The at-ear sensor became obstructed (so the screen would not come back on when moved away from my ear). The Velcro patches also came to fail, causing the flap to become loose and let the iPhone slide out of the case when I leaned over. Not recommended.

As noted by some, quality is an issue.Dec 10, 2009 While it is a good-looking case, and offers needed protection for the iPhone, the Marware simply does not stand up to normal use. I have had mine for about 6 months and have had to use tape and glue to keep it functional. I just purchased the Kroo, for considerably less money, and it is a far superior product.
