I have redone my review of this product. My first review was not good. The headset mic was horrible. After I wrote the negative review I tried the unit on a different brand phone. Works great on a GE phone but not good on the Panasonic phone. I am suspecting there is a phone issue. I am very happy with my purchase and would recomend it but it might make a difference on the type of phone you use.

My wife works from home and uses this every work day. She is very happy with the fit(she has smaller ears) and the sound quality has always been very good. The sound quality is better than the headset she had when she worked in the office, which was a professional telecom unit. We just bought 2 more, just in case they discontinue the model.

I suppose the earpiece is not supposed to go into your ear, because it's pretty much flat and so rests on top of the ear canal. If your car allows a lot of noise in, as mine does, the result is that it's hard to hear because the earpiece rests away from the ear canal and flops around as you might turn your head. I'd have much preferred if they said in their packaging 'doesn't fit into ear' because then I could have made a choice. It never even occurred to me someone would make a headset like that, so live and learn. There are a lot of perky reviews for this thing, so perhaps it works on some ears.

This product worked for one day with my phone at work and then the static set in. The customers calling in could not hear me because of all the static but I couldn't hear anything. Not to mention that when it did work the volume was way too low. I will be sending this product back.

I purchased this headset as my first one, and happened to luck out, I think. Clarity and loudness is fine for both me and the other party (headset is connected to Panasonic cordless phone). It is also lightweight and comfortable -- longest call made so far has been close to two hours, during which I experienced no discomfort.
The microphone enhancing switch is set to "Low" or "Off" for me -- when turned on, the other party complained of echos, so I turned it off and have since left it there.
Overall, a good little headset, which I recommend.
