5Instant baby sootherJul 22, 2009
When my baby is fussy, I carry him in this and he instantly falls asleep. He's currently 4 months but I've used it since he was 6 weeks and he loves it. However, I place him in it backward. (From their website: Turn your baby around, facing the opposite direction from the manner in which [page 1] indicates. This way your baby's head is not down in the fabric that goes over your shoulder.)
When he gets starts sitting up, I'll probably wear him on my hip in the toddler position. But for now, he naps for hours in this sling. Make sure you measure yourself correctly for a proper fit. If you wear your baby higher on your body, it's easier to go to the bathroom without taking him out.

5Great infant carrier!Dec 31, 2007
I love this carrier. It is so simple to use and so small you can take it anywhere. At first I had one that was a little too big and it was uncomfortable and slid down my shoulder. I just followed the instructions to make it a little smaller (the next size down was too small) and it worked great. My daughter LOVED it when she was a baby. I'm expecting my second child in a couple of weeks and am planning to use it extensively with him as well. I also have the Ellaroo wrap which is nice but much more trouble and a baby bjorn- also nice, but I prefer the snuggle factor of the new native.

4Great carrierJan 13, 2007
I love this carrier. My baby likes to sit on my hip and this carrier supports her weight and stabilizes her so that I can get some things done and still carry her around.

I found that I needed a size smaller than what was suggested, but all-in-all this is a very comfortable carrier and the fabric is breathable, unlike the Baby Bjorn that I was using, which she would sweat in and could only face my chest or forward and could not be used on the hip.[...]

4My daughter really enjoys itDec 21, 2006
I bought one of these when I was pregnant w/ my second. My first child was 20 months old when she was born so I wanted to have my hands free for him as much as possible.
I was able to use it quite a bit when she was a newborn. I think the only time it didn't calm my daughter down was when we flew from AZ to Japan and during one layover she was 3 1/2 months old and VERY cranky after 14 hours of flying. At that point nothing made her happy. Aside from that, I was often able to just put her in the sling from the time she was a few days old.
She's now 2 and loves to be carried in it on my hip..though we don't do that too often. My son 3 1/2 loves to ride on my hip too, but he's getting too big for it and it hurts to carry him much.
We took the kids to Disneyland Tokyo and my daughter, at 19 months, she was easy to carry in the sling when she was tired and needed a nap and big brother was sleeping in the stroller.
I am pregnant w/ #3 and I can't wait to put this new baby in this sling and wear her/him too. I have had several comments on this and have had quite a few people go out and buy one after seeing how easy it is to use.

1not for meDec 13, 2006
I could never quite figure this one out....either the baby seemed squished up in a ball, or I was uncomfortable. Maybe I just had the wrong size.
