2jWIN headponesNov 11, 2009
In general, wearing these headphones gives me a massive headache and makes my ears very warm even only after wearing them for 15 minutes. They sit on top of the ears and compress your head a bit more than is comfortable. Also, they are a bit unwieldy in terms of size and weight.

On Windows 7 they plugged in and worked immediately.

The sound quality is not spectacular, I got better quality out of a pair of $2 earbud headphones. Also there is this ringing/static/buzzing noise which you can hear even when no signal is being sent to the device. Another thing which was bothersome was they amplify the incoming signal a lot (I had to turn my computer volume down to 3/100 to get a reasonable volume) which is where I suspect the buzzing noise is coming from.

5Nice Gaming Headphones!Oct 21, 2009
These headphones really come cheap to the 50 dollar headphones I usually see. But with a cheap price comes a cheap defect. Whenever I start a recording program for the mic. there is a high pitched buzz in the headphones, but I just ignore it after 30 seconds so it doesn't really interfere that much. All in all these are good headphones and I would recommend them.

3It works, just that its big.Oct 18, 2009
I own a Dell Inspiron 531 with Windows Vista. I bought this headset to play video games and talk over Voice IP. So I plug this in and the system automatically detects it. Keep in mind, the plug is a USB and you want to make sure you have USB ports on your computer. After you plug it in, the headset is now the default audio and mic output. When you open a program such as Winamp or any program that gives out audio, the audio is played from your headset. The audio sounds fantastic and I have no problem using the mic.

One little flaw with the volume control on the headset. You can hear the sound fairly well at the lowest setting, meaning the volume is set at zero. Sound is still coming out and its playing between 10-15dB, which is somewhat loud for me. Another flaw is that when you unplug it, sounds won't come out from your external speakers. You have to restart the the program to get your external speakers to work again. Depending on the program or software you are using, an error may pop up after you unplug your headset and the program won't work (such as using Winamp).

As for comfort, it feels ok. The ear piece is quite large and your ears will feel a bit warm. Other than that, I think its comfortable.

3Good value for a headsetSep 30, 2009
This headset if a good value if you're an online gamer or Skype user. The sound quality is good for voice and OK for music. The headset is fairly comfortable for short periods, however the ear muffs do nit fir snug. You can easily hear outside noise which is fine if you want to be able to do that sort of thing, but annoying if you're trying to play a game or listen to music. Music does not sound dynamic on this headset at all. If you're looking for something that will play quality sound, look elsewhere.

Pluses: Low price, adjustable microphone, volume control, USB ease
Minuses: Average sound quality for music, ear muffs do not fit sung.

5works ..me likeSep 24, 2009
Got these for my pc/ps3. It's working for both perfectly. They fit me fine and don't really bother me wearing them for awhile. The mute button works fine. So far no problems. I'm using windows 7 and it detected and installed flawlessly. Have to say glad I got these on sale. Mic has no weird sounds at all. The sound playback sounds great which is nice for when others are sleeping. so yeah just to sum it up works as advertised and good deal..Would buy again.
