Don't Damage Your Hearing!Oct 02, 2009 Firstly I can't imagine anyone but me wanting one of these antiquated things. But if you do, find another. Upon inserting a CD and hitting the Play button, the device starts with the sound level at its maximum. You must start pressing the volume button immediately in order to protect your hearing. By the way, the buttons work, when they want to. You can actually hear the sound of the cd rotating round and round, or some strange noise caused by interference. Enough said? Great!
don't waste your money on this junkSep 14, 2009 this is a junk don't waste money on it the earphones suck you can put new batties in and 1 hour later they are dead
Portable MusicSep 12, 2009 I have enjoyed the personal cd player. I also purchased headphones that captured the music better than the ear buds. It is an excellent product and the sound quality is good.

Does Not Play MP3 FormatAug 16, 2009 Purchased this cd player along with an audio book cd. Didn't know the audio cd was in MP3 format until I read it on the back cover (wasn't mentioned on the website). The package for this cd player does not state that it can read MP3 format. Just to be sure, I checked around the web and saw a couple articles stating that it can not.
Gave it 3 stars because it looks nice, but am returning it unopened and buying a different model that can read MP3 format.

It's OK for the price I guessAug 05, 2009 Just got mine today. I guess for the price it is what it is....At the littlest tap it skips and there is a ringing noise in the headphones. But it was only $19, so what more can I expect. It will do for what I need it for...Long road trip with someone who complains the whole ride....It will drain them right out!
