For the price, it's just fine. I much prefer my older one that had many more adjustments and did not need the oil. This one has 5 height adjustments.

Batteries died down quickly in it.Doesn't snag any hair like crazy like some other shavers.I got this to shave some small animals because when I got them the fur on them was very dirty and matted.It states on the package that it shouldn't be used on animals,I wish the seller would post that in the product description.Though I don't know why,it didn't really bother my pets.I've been using it to shave my legs and stuff works okay for a beard trimmer.The design of the product fits in hand very nicely.It is lightweight....

Portable trimmer works very well. Without its guard, it does cut close and uneven - makes you look like you forgot to shave. Plenty of power wiith 2 AAA batteries.
Lacking PowerFeb 20, 2009
I bought this because it uses regular AAA batteries and I had a lot of trouble with previous trimmers that had built-in batteries since the batteries would no longer hold a charge at some point. Now I can just use rechargable AAA batteries.
Being water-proof is also a big plus and makes it really easy to clean
The only downside is that it is lacking in power and doesn't work that well on my curly beard.
