Works great for meOct 19, 2009 I've used this for a few weeks now and I think it is a fine trimmer. The comb has it's pluses and minuses just like all the other built-in ones. If you have curly thick whiskers to trim then it probably won't work well. You will need to take off the built in comb/guide use a regular comb, the two handed trim approach. Or buy a trimmer with the snap on combs. The quality seems good. Better than many others I have purchased in the past. I like the charging stand.

Hair & Beard TrimmerOct 12, 2009 I was totally satisfied with my Panasonic ER2405K Portable Hair & Beard Trimmer.
It has smooth, quiet operation and does a great job.

Not very well designedSep 15, 2009 I travel abroad frequently and I have a beard, so I wanted a dual voltage beard trimmer. I have a Norelco trimmer that works perfectly, but it only works on US voltage. I bought the Panasonic because it could be used abroad. However, while it may work abroad it doesn't work too well at US voltages. With the lower US voltage it simply does not trim very well, it feels underpowered. At the higher voltages found abroad it may work, we shall see. In addition, unlike most beard trimmers, it does not simply plug into a socket, instead it comes with a separate stand. How on Earth could anyone design a piece of equipment designed for travel and then add additional parts? The logical design would be for an electric razor manufacturer like Braun to make a razor that can also be used as a beard trimmer, but that would be too logical.

Decent if you are not hairyApr 22, 2009 The Wahl trimmer I own is 100% better The recharge system is junk. I would return If I still had the packaging materials. Unfortunately I threw them away before I charged and tried the product. If you are a pre-teen or not so hairy and only need to shave once a week this may work for you. If you are a normal man, get something else.

Disappointed, must use with guard off for resultsFeb 16, 2009 I bought this after reading the reviews, but it isn't worth anything unless you take the guard off. Even on the shortest setting, very little hair is actually trimmed off.
