I was using the Sandisk m250(old model). What a great upgrade the Sandisk Clip is! I was just having a bit of problem with my old model due to evolving technology so I thought it was time to get a new one. All the little issues I had with my previous model are gone and the ease to adapt to the new one was a piece of cake. And topping it all off, no more batteries! I used to purchase batteries in bulk because I use my player 8 hours a day at work. With the Clip being rechargeable, life is good (and much more affordable). I also purchased the wall charger and car charger and they work just fine for me.
I have always liked Sandisk products and gravitate back to them when I am purchasing mp3 players. I have never been disappointed!!
Sound is great, easy to use and program. Love the sleep timer.

I bought this for my daughter's 7th birthday. I have a sanza and already think / know that they are dependable with good sound quality ad easy to use and download music. She loves it and hasn't been able to put it down. Easy to use and just the right size for her.....

It's small and it works ok. The ear phones are average. I took the ear phones from my dead IPOD and the sound is good only after ajusting the equalizer base settings. If you use the preset equalizer settings the sound is poor. The USB charger cord supplied is only about 6 inches long which is not a big problem. The FM radio stinks! The ear plug wires act as your antenna so you constanly have to move them around to get the station to come in clearly. If your riding on a train or bus the stations are constantly fading out. Don't buy this for the radio feature because you will be very disappointed. It's about the size of a car key and that's a nice feature. Loading songs is a snap with drag and drop unlike the IPOD. My biggest complaint is that there is no owners manual that comes packaged with it. They supply a pack of seven cards with no detailed instruction on the navigation windows or anything else for that matter. Very poor documentation. You have to go to their website support page and search around and even then the info that should be included in an owners manual is not easy to find.

We bought this one for our 8 year old daughter; she loves it and it's very easy to use for small kids. We didn't think we should spend $100 in a small portable player for a young kid. The LCD screen allows her to know what it's playing. Easy to convert itunes to MP3 format and download. My husband and older son will continue to buy ipods, but for a younger kid definately the way to go.
