Durable and great soundAug 30, 2009
I have a teenager who goes through electronic devices like crazy. Other headsets from the major manufacturers have been destroyed in short order. The Sennheiser currently holds the record for length of service in the hostile environment of a teenagers room. Plus, he really likes the way it sounds.

These are without a doubt the best headphones/microphone setup that I've ever owned. I love wearing them - their easy to connect to my Mac and most importantly, they don't give me headaches when I wear them for a long period of time.

 Poor construction and comfortFeb 11, 2009
As soon as I took these out of the box, they felt flimsier than my longtime Altec Lansing headset. Also they are very uncomfortable with sharp edges where they go over the ears. The sound quality seemed good and they were simple to set up, but the rest of the construction was bad enough to render them unusable for me.

I got these as a christmas present for my son. He uses these mainly for playing world of warcraft and listening to music. He says they're the best he's had yet. When he has them on, there is no external sound and the quality is very good. I'd definitely get these again. Shipped on time and was very pleased with the seller and amazon.
