Very Misleading!!Oct 12, 2009 Product claims to fit tv's up to 46", though didnt fit my 42" Panasonic Plasma. First off, I had to go to Home Depot and buy the proper (metric and allen head) bolts that fit the TV because the other 22 sets of hardware were too small (that was another $6 and wasted hour of my life). THEN I had to redrill the holes bec the the bolts were too big for the holes in the frame. Soooo, its probably less of a headache to just go to Best Buy and save yourself the time (especially if you arent inclined to do such alterations as I did). Good luck.
Not so UniversalMay 08, 2008 This mount will NOT work with the Vizio flat screens. Otherwise it seemed to be an unobtrusive, sturdy mount. Of course I never got it on the wall/TV to test that theory.
Simply, solid and stableFeb 16, 2008 It's the simplest of all the mounts I've ever had to install. It's a very intuitive system that I've never had any trouble with, in the entire screen range (22-49"). The only caveat is that if the TV needs to be mounted vertically (as in kiosk/advertising setups) this is NOT the mount to use, because the TV will slide off, or you have to do unholy things to the back of the unit. Definitely safer to get a rotating mount if this is your usage, otherwise all good.
Good for the priceJan 28, 2008 It is sturdy and came with adequate hardware. It was nice that it could span 16 inches to reach two studs also. I wouldn't use this on a 42 inch display. This is a good buy if you want a real wallmount for 21-36 inch displays. Those small square things make me nervous. And it is rediculous to drop a C-note at wallyworld for the same thing as this. Also, those extended arm mounts always end up tilting to the side and make the TV uneven.
SturdyOct 19, 2007 Wall mount is very sturdy out of the box. The screws were neatly packaged in individualized compartments. Very easy to find the right screw even if your TV is not in the instruction book. The mount took about 30 minutes to place on the wall and put the TV on. Only trouble was with the locking screws since the TV sits so close to the wall and they give you a "L" shaped alan wrench.
