Not impressed..Apr 20, 2009 The fact that there are NO "hyperlinks"--getting from song to song, no playlist options, NO easy way to get to the song you want. You could spend a minute just trying to get to the stinkin' song you want. Kind of a bunch of sentence fragments, but that's kinda what this MP3 player is... A whole mumble jumble of junk...
You get what you pay for I guess
Didn't last 1 monthFeb 17, 2009 I bought this for Christmas for my grandson. He asked me a few weeks ago to fix it for him. Can't. I tried to save money and buy an imitation ipod. Store won't take it back. So to the apple store I go. Beware.
It's a painJan 30, 2009 I purchased this MP3 in June 2008 for both playing my music but also being able to tune into FM radio when wanted.
What I'm experiencing is:
- Unimpressive shuffle feature. I swear it plays the same 20-30 songs over and over unless I skip through.
- From time to time is starts several seconds, even minutes into a song.
- And now it's moody about getting charged. I plug it into my computer and it states fully charged. Then I get to work and the battery runs out!
I tried to go cheap and I got burned.

Not ImpressedJan 16, 2009 Don't want to spend a whole lot of time writing a review for this. My wife got this for Christmas from her parents and I (unknowingly) bought her a Sansa Fuze. Well, I ended up with the Sansa and it's 10x better than this.
All menus require pushing or holding up or down (can't scroll around the dial). So, say you have 50 artists loaded, you will have to push a button 50 times to scroll through the whole list or you can hold the button up or down and it autoscrolls (not as quickly as it could be)for you. Don't get me wrong, you can scroll up in reverse (Z-A) to get to your desired artist, but expect a lot of button holding/pushing. Buttons are not touch sensitive, you have to press harder than you'd think.
I haven't played with it much except to load songs. No playlists?!?!?? Really, RCA????? They have something called Favorites, which you can check certain songs to add to the list, so....perhaps that's their version of a playlist. However, there's only 1 Favorites, so apparently you're only allowed 1 mood! So essentially when my wife works out and wants songs with a good beat, she's stuck with a mumble jumble of songs .
Another frustrating feature is when you are listening to a song and you want to go back to the artist list, you cannot back out through song-album-artist-artist list. No, you have to go to the main menu, go back into artists and start from the letter A. See paragraph #2 above why this is so frustrating.
I'm so glad I ended up with the Sansa Fuze.......

Great MP3 but.....Nov 20, 2008 as of today, Fred Meyers has it on sale for $39.99. Pretty sure you can find it cheaper, but whatever. Great size, nice look.
