Sirius is the way to goNov 19, 2009 This is my third radio from Sirius. While I have some problems with their other components I love their radios. This is one of the new radios that allows for the A La Carte feature which allows the user to pick 50 of their favorite channels. This is so cool because it allows the user to save money and still get Sirius radio. The sleek design looks great in my truck, at my house, and at my office. Great all around product!

Good Product, be mindful of connectionSep 09, 2009 This is a great choice if you're a new Sirius subscriber. The radio with a big screen/LCD type look is a waste of money if you live up north where the cold weather can cause the screen to freeze. The "pause" capability is exactly like a DVR/Tivo in that you can take a call or whatever and not lose a joke, part of a song, etc. My only point of caution is your connection type. I'm using an AUX input and have some trouble with static. Sirius is providing great customer service though by sending me a direct FM adapter that should alleviate the problem.

not as good as older radiosAug 26, 2009 I replaced a 3 year starmate model with this newer one. To my suprise it would not use the same open radio setting as my 3 older models(88.1). According to Sirius tech support the newer radios by FCC ruling do not transmit with same power as older models causing stactic and signal going in and out as you travel. I attached antenna extender as provided and it helped some. According to tech support next step was to by fm booster to attached directly to radio. Too much trouble for too little results.

Works greatAug 13, 2009 Sirius Sat received works great!! The remote control is very convenient and makes it easier than trying to see the receiver while traveling. Also, the passengers in the back can control the receiver without the driver having to make the changes. Very impressed with the flexibility of the receiver and plan to install additional docks in home and other autos to allow me to move the receiver. The display is easy to see, which was a major concern. Overall, very, very pleased with the receiver!

Starmate 5Jul 06, 2009 The A la Carte programming is great, since I could only find 46 programs that I wanted. Even that was a stretch, as a lot of those I still haven't listened to.
