Great headphoneAug 30, 2009 Very pleased with these headphones. The price is right, and the in-line volume control is pleasingly slim and compact. Would definitely buy these again.
Already?!?!Aug 05, 2009 I've barely had these headphones one week and already the right earbud has gone out!I love the volume control and they are comfortable, but it defeats the purpose if you're only listening to the music in one ear!
Good value for the priceAug 05, 2009 I was a little hesitant to get these and actually would have cancelled the order had Amazon not shipped it earlier than the estimated shipping date. But now that I have them I'm glad I didn't cancel. They were the least expensive brand-name buds I could find with a volume control and the reviews were mixed, but I'm quite happy with them. The sound is good, and while some noted that the volume control didn't have a wide range, I think the range is perfectly adequate. With the volume control on the earbuds set at the max and my player set to my normal listening level, when I then turn the volume control all the way down you can barely hear the player. Like a previous reviewer noted though, it did *not* come with a carrying case as pictured which is disappointing. But I'm giving it 4 stars just for the earbuds themselves.
Panasonic headset w/ volume controlJul 15, 2009 This is my second set. The reason I'm giving it 3* is because it did not take long before the volume control started to have problems. However, sound wise, it's a great headset for any MP3 player. It's worth $7.49 (but not too much more than that).

Not great for volume control...Sep 09, 2008 I got these earphones primarily for the volume control feature to use on my PC, so that I won't have to click around with the mouse everytime I want to change the volume. These turned out not to be so great for this because...
a) The range of volume control is too minor to be useful. The sound difference between the min and max setting on the volume control is perhaps only 1/10 of total volume difference you can get by manually setting it on the PC.
b) The volume control is set quite close to the earphones, so, unless you let the lines dangle in front of you, there's a lot fumbling around the neck trying to find the volume control.
C)the sound quality is also quite mediocre.
Overall, I'd recommend spending a little more getting a better pair which might be more functional.
