 May look weird, but WONDERFUL mobileNov 05, 2009
This was given to me as a shower gift...and I admit when I saw it I thought it was "weird" and matched NOTHING. But I had an intense baby and was desperate to find something to soothe him, and the wind-up we had wasnt cutting it. This is AMAZING....there isnt a "stop" but you can turn the volume to low or high and it shuts off after 15 minutes.. It gives you 3 different classical options and my son loved watching the little stars fall down eaach time the mobile went around. PLUS, when he was old enough to stand and pull at it, I detached the mobile and left the Music box on so he could still hear the tunes. The music box part was also GREAT for travel!!! Would recommend this to ANYONE again ANYTIME, ANYDAY!!! A++++++

This is hands-down the best thing we bought for our fussy baby. It was one of the only things that would calm him down, and give me a chance to shower or do anything that didn't involve holding him. He is now 2 years old, and sitll has the music box part attached to his bed, and still plays it as soon as he wakes up. Our second son will be born next month, and we plan to get the same mobile for him. [...]

We received this mobile as a gift and I have been very pleased with it. My son is now 4 months old and starts to smile whenever we put him under it -- even before we can turn it on. We love how this not only turns but turns at an angle, so that the animals rise and fall and the rings slide back and forth. He likes to reach his hands out to try to touch the animals on the low part of their rotation. The music isn't bad, and at least it is not the shrill nursery rhymes music that so many toys play. My only wish is that the timer were a bit longer. My son is entertained the whole time, but loses interest if I have to come back into the room to restart it. A remote control would have been nice. Overall, a great mobile. I would highly recommend it.

I bought this for mobile for my baby boy about a year ago. He did not seem to be very interested at first but now he enjoys looking at it. Actually both my 2 year old and my 1 year old enjoy the mobile. They only problem I had was attaching the mobile to the crib but I believe it is because the design of the crib is old. I strongly recommend this product for entertaining but not for sleeping.

Great mobile, but at toysrus this is 30$, the other mobiles are also much less....
