 Love the retractible cordNov 19, 2009
I use this primarily as my car charger - and love that I don't have tangled cords or "telephone" type cords strung all over the console of my car. Only wish would be for about 6 more inches of cord - my lighter is just far enough away that when I get a call, I have to remove the charger to talk on the phone - or, use a headset.

i have been using this charger for about three months with no problems, beside the fact that after a couple weeks the cord wouldnt retract... But for $4.00 what can you expect... The Warning comes from, a couple days ago i left my phn plugged in the cpu and walked alway (done this 100s times). About 20 mins later i smell something buring, i go toward the smell and its coming from my CPU or so i thought. I go to unhook the charger from my phone and the middle (where the cord retacts) is BURNING HOTT. the middle of the charger had actully melted and was too hot to touch. the cord itself was still cool, still dont under how it melted... just be warned

I bought this along with the Otterbox defender case for the IPhone. However, the charger does not fit with the Otterbox on the IPhone, so it's useless to me.

Its a very cheaply built product and feels like they used the cheapest materials possible. But heres the funny thing.. it works!..
I carry this around in my travel bag.. its a good alternative to carrying your original (and expensive to replace) charger around..
