5Efectivo y FácilNov 14, 2009
Es sencillísimo de usar y 100 por 100 efectivo. Sencillamente, la relación calidad precio es tan alta, que la calidad es muy superior a su precio.
Saludos.

3ok, but...Nov 13, 2009
did some online research about a decent radar detector for under $200. this one and one from beltronics came up. i've owned both bel and whistler before and, after careful deliberation, i chose the whistler. it seems like it picks up everything; alarms, garage door openers, you name it. in about 4 weeks of use, i've had about 400+ false alarms and only 2 actual radar detections. tried the filter, but that only filters x band. the other bands (including the "pop" alerts) still go crazy on a regular basis. i suspect that i'll end up getting a ticket not because the detector failed to detect the radar, but because it will be mixed in with a zillion false alarms and i'll just ignore it. i'm wishing i had my old beltronics detector now (got stolen from my car awhile back). it was very simple, but worked great...

4Solid Performing Radar DetectorOct 31, 2009
I've had this for a couple of weeks now, and took it on a long trip from South Florida to Orlando. Worked well and alerted me to police radar in sufficient time to adjust speed. The voice alert is a great feature: tells you the kind of radar signal being picked up. The display is a bit hard to see during the day, but OK at night. I actually set my unit up to flash different colors for: K, Ka, POP, etc. And that helps to visually identify the signal.

I did a lot of research before buying this unit, and I did not want to spend hundred of dollars for a Escort or Valentine. I'm very happy with my purchase and the performance of the unit. I'm not a speed hound -- but I do drive fast at times -- and so far, the XTR-695 has done its job and kept me out of trouble. For K and Ka, the unit appears to have good range as I've picked up signals more than 1 mile away. Have also picked up police radar around bends at approx. 1/2 mile.

4Very good detector of cops! better than cobra.Oct 24, 2009
i think the Whistler is a very good detector. the only thing that isnt the greatest is the screen isnt the best. overall i would recommend for anybody. bc to compensate for what the screen says, i changed the screen colors to represent what its detecting, like a K pulse or X. bc most K are cops.

1stop working after 3 months!!Oct 23, 2009
