5Great sound, great priceNov 06, 2007
These XtremeMac IPD-FSE-00 FS1 Earphones (White) are really excellent, providing great sound as well as insulation from external noise. This is of course dependant on the way they fit in the ear, which is sometimes tricky to get right.

5AWESOME PHONES! AWESOME DEAL!Nov 04, 2007
Believe all the positive reviews on these, and ignore the one negative -- that reviewer obviously didn't achieve the proper seal, because the bass is AWESOME and so is the entire audio spectrum. Forget the silicone sleeves and go with the foam (as the manufacturer recommends). For replacement foam sleeves, the "Shure PA910M Replacement Black Foam Sleeves" available on Amazon Shure PA910M Replacement Black Foam Sleeves (Medium) for Shure SE210, SE310, SE420, SE530 and SE530PTH Earphones fit this model & they're re-usable & washable These are the best earphones I have ever owned/heard, period -- also extremely comfortable once you get used to them. If you're looking for in-ear canal phones, look no further. FutureSonics has a new model for more than the list price of these ($150+) but I can't believe they're significantly better for all but the most extremely demanding audiophile. At this price, they're an absolute steal. I just ordered a second pair as a backup. Snap 'em up while you can!

5excellentNov 02, 2007
These are definitely the best headphones I've ever owned. As mentioned in another review, the sleeves that come with the phones are not the smooth ones pictured, but 3 sizes of double flanged silicone sleeves and 2 sizes of cylindrical foam sleeves. I've been using the phones with the silicone sleeves for a few weeks now. I'm not an audiophile, but I have no problem with the quality of the audio. The noise isolation is definitely noticeable, and it's great to not have to blast out my ears to drown out ambient noise. The cord is about 34 inches long (14 inches from the split to the phones), which is a good length to reach from my ears to my pants pocket without having a bunch of excess. The only downside to these earphones was that I found them extremely uncomfortable initially. I had never tried canalphones before, but it was only a few days before I got used to them , and now I wear them every day without a second thought. Definitely recommended.

1great until they break for no reason.Oct 19, 2007
I loved these headphones. I took excellent care of them, always putting them in the protective case, etc. I never had earbuds so expensive so I was super careful. About 7 months later, they broke. Just in a really retarded way, and I couldn't fix them. MEGA FRUSTRATION. I wrote the company, and sent pictures of the broken headphones...etc. They didn't feel motivated to respond. F*&^ them, and F*&^ that. That's alot of money down the drain.

5These are the best yet!Oct 06, 2007
I have tried many different headphones (V moda-duo, Etymotic ER6i) but to my ears these are far the best yet. The bass is incredible. The highs and mid-range's are awesome as well. Please take note that these no longer come with the bullet style sleeves (that everyone is complaining about). They come with very soft double flanged ones in three different sizes. They also come with the foam ones in different sizes as well. I prefer the silicone. o They are very comfortable and create the seal that you need to hear/feel the bass in the music. You cannot go wrong with these. I love them. I never knew my music could sound so this good!
