Fantastic for the PriceDec 25, 2009 I got these headphones on sale at Marshalls, but before I bought them I looked online to see what people thought of them. A lot of people said that they were really quiet, but with exceptional sound. I bought them hesitantly, afraid they'd be too quiet, and it doesn't seem too quiet at all to me. Then again, I also have the iPod which can crank up really loud. On my laptop, it sounds plenty loud too. I bet I'd probably feel it if I was still using my PSP for an Mp3 player.
First, I'd like to say that I absolutely love the sound quality. The design is brilliant, very fun. A lot of people say that they were expecting the outer metallic part to be metal, but I think I prefer plastic, as it makes the whole set a little lighter. The design fits right over my ears, and does a great job isolating the sound, and muffling outer sounds. The bass is great, and my ears don't hurt after wearing them for a long time.
They probably aren't the best headphones out there, but for what I paid, I'm exceedingly pleased with the quality. I highly, highly, highly recommend these to anyone who doesn't want to pay an arm and a leg for decent headphones.

Good for computer usageOct 06, 2009 I fell in love with the design of these headphones. I really like the retro look, and I absolutely adore over the ear headphones! I am not a big fan of sticking ear buds into my ears. I thought the red part was going to be metal, but its actually plastic, but that is not a big deal. The mesh ear cups actually provide pretty decent noise isolation which means did not have to crank up the volume to drown out background noise! I use these on my computer and the sound is very clear and very nice. I listen to music on my computer, since I dont have an mp3 :( , and so the sound is pretty balanced, but I am no music expert, so thats my 2 cents worth about the sound. When I did plug these into an mp3 player, the sound was pretty quiet low. I was surprised. I had to crank up the volume to listen at a good listening volume! This is mostly surprising because I absolutely do not listen to music at a loud volume because my hearing is important to me! So I was pretty disappointed by that fact since I was planning on getting an mp3 and would have liked to use these. Another thing is that if there is wind outside or a breeze, you actually hear the "whoosh" sound! This obviously interferes with the music, especially because if your outside with these headphones it means you are using an mp3 player, and if your using an mp3 player the sound isnt that loud anyway! And for me, even if the noise isnt that loud I dare not crank it up too much because I don't want to damage my hearing, so that was disappointing. I love the look, the sound quality and volume is amazing when using on a computer, which is where I spend most of my time listening to music and what not. One other thing I noticed about these headphones, after about a couple hours of using them, with breaks in between, my head started hurting a bit. I dont know if its just because of the pressure that the cups place on my ears (which really isnt much it doesnt squeeze your head!), but I had a small headache, and I dont ever get headaches. Overall I think these are pretty decent headphones for wearing in doors while working, playing, or listening to stuff on the computer, but for outdoor usage I wouldn't recommend it.
